American Authors is an American indie rock band with elements of folk and pop music based in Brooklyn, New York. They are known for singles such as “ Best Day of My Life ”, as well as “ Believer ” from their first album “ Oh, What a Life ”. This album fell into third place on the Billboard rock album chart [1] .

History
Members of American Authors first met at Berkeley College in 2006.
At the beginning of his career, the quartet recorded songs and performed under the name “ The Blue Pages ” in Boston . In 2010, the band moved to Brooklyn and worked with Island Records .
In 2012, the group changed its name to “ American Authors ” ( Russian American authors ). Their debut single, “Believer,” caught their attention via alternative rock radio. Their second single, "Best Day of My Life," was featured in Lowe's television commercials in the United States, Hyundai's television commercials in the United Kingdom.
In January 2013, a contract was signed with Mercury Records .
In 2014, the debut album “ Oh, What A Life ” was released, consisting of eleven tracks and including the most famous songs “ Believer ” and “ Best Day Of My Life ”.
In 2015, she released the singles “ Go Big Or Go Home ” and “ Pride ”.
In 2016, the band released their second studio album, “ What We Live For, ” consisting of twelve tracks, among which is also the single “ Pride ”.
In 2017, the single " I Wanna Go Out " was released, which was written and used for "The Lego Movie: Ninjago ." Island - This Is Christmas also includes a festive track from American Auhors called Coming Home To You .
In 2018, American Authors released the singles " Deep Water ", " Say Amen " and " Neighborhood " - these tracks will be included in the group's third studio album.
The single " Stay Around " was released in 2019.
On February 1, 2019, the release of the third studio album, “ Seasons ”, is planned. It will contain 10 tracks, which will also include the single “ I Wanna Go Out ”.
