Sekh, Irina Igorevna

Education and career

From 1977 to 1987, she studied at Brodovka High School No. 1, from 1987 to 1989 she studied at the Brodovsk Pedagogical School, she graduated with honors from both institutions.

From 1990 to 1994, she studied at the Ternopil Pedagogical Institute , specializing in "primary school teacher." From 2005 to 2009 she studied at the Faculty of Law at the Lviv National University. Ivan Franko majoring in law.

She worked in the schools of Zolochev and Brody. Founder and director of Legal Advice Agency LLC, which provides legal advice [1] .

Political career

In 1998, she joined the Freedom party, where she became an assistant to the people's deputy of Ukraine Oleg Tyagnibok , working in a public reception room [1] .

In 2002, as a result of local elections, “Freedom” for the first time received a representative office in the Brodovsky District Council, where Irina Sekh led the party’s parliamentary faction [1] .

In 2006, Irina was elected a deputy of the Lviv Regional Council of the V convocation, in the next election in 2010 she was re-elected for a second term. She headed the Freedom faction on the council (41 of 116 deputies) along with a commission on ecology, natural resources and recreation, as well as a number of temporary control deputies commissions. Irina Sekh was distinguished by the largest number of deputy appeals and requests, and the commission headed by her was the initiator of the largest number of decisions of the sessions [1] . Irina Sekh is the author of a program to prevent and prevent the spread of alcoholism among the population of the region.

After the parliamentary elections of 2012, she became the people's deputy of Ukraine from the majority district No. 119 [2] , headed the Committee of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine on environmental policy, nature management and the aftermath of the Chernobyl disaster.

LOG Chairman

From March 2, 2014, in accordance with Decree No. 212/2014 and. about. President of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov - Chairman of the Lviv Regional State Administration [3] . From the moment of her appointment, Sekh combined the position of the LOGA chairman with the status of a people's deputy (Freedom fraction), which is prohibited by the Ukrainian constitution . On June 10, 2014, Irina Sekh wrote a letter of resignation from the post of head of LOGA “in connection with the termination of powers and. about. President of Ukraine Alexander Turchinov and the assumption of office of the new President of Ukraine ” [4] . Sekh plans to resign immediately after signing her statement by Petro Poroshenko , who won the presidential election in 2014 , after which she plans to continue working in the Verkhovna Rada [5] . On August 14, 2014, President Petro Poroshenko, by decree No. 648/2014, dismissed Irina Sekh from the position of head of the LOGA, appointing Yury Turyansky instead [6] [7] .

Further political career

In the parliamentary elections in October 2014, she participated in the vote in the majority district No. 119, according to the results of which she took fourth place. The representative of the Popular Front party , the entrepreneur, the centurion of the Maidan Self-Defense and the commander of the first operational battalion of the National Guard of Ukraine named after Kulchitsky Mikhail Bondar lost the battle [8] .

Patronage

In 2014, Irina Sekh acted as the main sponsor of the literary contest "Woman in History" and the nomination "Woman in the struggle for Ukraine".

Family

Husband - businessman Andrei Sekh, has a daughter Darina. He is the sister of Ukrainian politician Oleg Pankevich .
