Biography

Born in 1920 in a peasant family in the village of Georgievka, Turkestan region (today - Tolebi district of the South Kazakhstan region , Kazakhstan ). In 1936 he joined the collective farm "Victory" Georgievsky district of the Chimkent region. He worked as an ordinary collective farmer. Since 1941, he participated in the Great Patriotic War. After demobilization he returned to his native collective farm. He was appointed as a field leader. In the subsequent time he worked as a brigade leader of the vegetable-growing brigade. From 1967 he worked as a driver.

In 1948, the field unit of Yakov Skrynnikov gathered 28.6 centners of grain from an area of ​​30 hectares. For this valiant work was awarded in 1949 the title of Hero of Socialist Labor.
