Alexey Gennadievich Zhdakhin (born February 15, 1966, Perm) is a Soviet and Russian hockey player (striker), coach. He is currently the head coach of the Khanty-Mansiysk Ugra .

Biography
Pupil of Perm "Hammer", the first coach - A. V. Shevelev.
He played for the Perm team of masters in the 1984/85 season in the first league of the USSR championship. Bronze medalist of the 1984 USSR Youth Championship. After a break for army service (where he did not play hockey) he spent three seasons in Nizhny Tagil Sputnik (second league), then two in Izhstal (first league). After the collapse of the USSR, he played in the Interethnic Hockey League (Vanguard, Rubin), the Super League of the Russian Championship (Rubin, Vanguard, Amur; also Siberia in the transition tournament of 1998), the Major League of the Russian Championship ( Nosta - South Ural, Metallurg Serov, Sputnik). In addition, in 1999 he played for the Italian Bruneck.
Having completed his playing career, he became a coach of Sputnik-2; in the seasons 2003/04, 2004/05, 2005/06, 2007/08 - coach of the first team of the Nizhny Tagil club (assisted by Valery Ivanova, Yuri Perezhogin, Vladimir Sobrovin) [1] , in September - October 2004 - and. about. head coach, in the 2006/07 season and from 2008 to October 2010 - Sputnik head coach (major league, since the 2010/11 season - VHL ). From January 2011 - the second coach of the Angarsk “Ermak” (under the main - Viktor Laukhin), from September 29, 2011 to March 30, 2013 - the head coach of “Ermak” (VHL). Since April 2013, he has been the head coach of the TCK, also acting in the VHL. Under the leadership of Zhdakhin, THK twice became the VHL semi-finalist (2015, 2016) and showed the best result in the regular championship of the 2015/16 season.
On April 2, 2015, during the 2nd period of the 3rd match of the 1/2 final of the Cup of Bratina, Zhdakhin had a fight with the head coach of Izhevsk Izhstal, Andrei Razin , for which both coaches were removed before the end of the match. [2] [3] [4]
On April 22, 2016, it was reported that Zhdakhin was leaving THC. [five]
He graduated from the Omsk Institute of Physical Culture . Married, has two sons. The youngest son - Pavel (born 1996) - is a player of the THC and Tverichi. [6]
