De Sarte, Jean-Francois

Jean-Francois De Sart ( French: Jean-François De Sart ; December 18, 1961 , Warem , Belgium ) is a Belgian footballer , defender known for playing for Liege , Anderlecht and the Belgian national team . Member of the 1990 World Championships . From 1999 to 2011 he coached the youth team of Belgium . The sons of Jean-Francois - Julien and Alexis are also professional footballers.

Content

Club career

De Sarte began his career at the Liege Club. In the 1981/1982 season, he made his debut for the team in the Jupe League . In 1990, Jean-Francois helped the club win the Belgian Cup . In 1991, de Sart transferred to Anderlecht and performed there for two years being the successor of Michel de Wolff and Gram Rutjes . In 1993, Jean-Francois became the champion of Belgium. In the same year he returned to Liège, where he completed his career two years later.

International Career

On May 27, 1989, in a friendly match against the national team of Yugoslavia, de Sarte made his debut for the national team of Belgium . In 1990, he was included in the application of the national team for participation in the World Cup in Italy . At the tournament he was a substitute and never entered the field.
