Biography
The grandson of the well-known human rights activist and politician, Senator of the Philippines, Jose Wright Diokno (1922-1987), the son of a lawyer and human rights activist, Dean of the Law College of La Salle University, Jose Manuel Diokno (b. 1961). He made his film debut with the short film “Without a Passport” ( 2006 ). The first full-length film "Fight" ( 2009 ) brought the young director worldwide recognition.
