Born in the city of Pads in the English county of Yorkshire . [2] She began her acting career filming in British films in the late 1940s. The greatest popularity was brought to her by her own comedy television show “Hey Jenny!” On the American channel “ CBS ”, which aired from 1956 to 1958. In 1960, she was awarded a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame . Her television career continued until the late 1970s, after which she retired, retiring with her second husband, actor Biff McGuire, [2] in Los Angeles .
