The museum is located in the house where the Spanish artist Joaquín Sorolla y Bastida lived . The house was built in 1909-1910. under the supervision of the artist himself [1] .
Opened to the public in 1932, after the death of the artist’s widow. In addition to the collection of works by Sorolla (the largest in the world), the museum exhibits things from his personal environment, as well as his collection of ceramics, porcelain, sculptures, etc. [1] Visitors to the museum can also see the garden created by the artist.
