Club career
In professional football, he made his debut in 1967 with performances for the Otvidberg club team, in which he spent six seasons, taking part in 50 championship matches. As part of Otvidberg , he was one of the team's top scorers, with an average performance of 0.36 goals per championship game.
His game for this team attracted the attention of the representatives of the coaching staff of the Munich “ Bavaria ”, which joined in 1973.
