Raif Dizdarevich ( Bosn. Raif Dizdarević , born December 9, 1926 in Fojnice) - Yugoslav Bosnian politician, Minister of Foreign Affairs of Yugoslavia from 1984 to 1987 , Chairman of the Presidium of the SFRY from 1988 to 1989 .

Biography
Since 1943, at the front of the People’s Liberation War of Yugoslavia . Member of the CPU since 1945. He worked initially in the state security service, since 1951 transferred to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. He worked in the embassies of the SFRY in Bulgaria (1951-1954), in the USSR (1956-1959) and Czechoslovakia (1963-1967). In 1972 he became Deputy Foreign Minister Miloš Minic .
From April 1978 to April 1982, he was the Chairman of the Presidium of the SR of Bosnia and Herzegovina, from 1982 to 1984, he was the Chairman of the Allied National Assembly. In 1984, he was appointed Minister of Foreign Affairs and worked there until 1987. He was elected to the SFRY Presidium in 1987, from May 15, 1988 to May 15, 1989 he was the head of the Presidium.
For the year of work of Dizdarevich, the external debt of the SFRY rose to the level of 21 billion US dollars, and inflation reached 217%. Due to the difficult economic situation, he had to cancel visits to Brazil, Uruguay and Senegal, and the protests of the Albanians in Kosovo were a secondary reason.
After the collapse of the country Dizdarevich left the political arena. In 2009, he became a member of the council of the Bosnian Our Party. Lives in Sarajevo. The author of memoirs.
The nephew is Srdjan Dizdarevich (1952–2016), a journalist and diplomat.
