National Mark Issues
Granada Confederation
The first fiscal stamp of Colombia entered into circulation on September 1, 1858 [2] , a year before the emission of the first Colombian postage stamp . Such was the black mark of the Granada Confederation , with a nominal value of 20 centavos [3] [4] .
United States of New Granada
In 1861, a fiscal stamp of 20 centavos was issued with the inscription isp. “Estados Unidos de Nueva Granada” (“United States of New Granada”) [5] .
United States of Colombia
Later that same year, 1861, the United States of New Granada became the United States of Colombia , and from 1864 fiscal stamps began to appear with the inscription “Estados Unidos de Colombia” (“United States of Colombia”) [6] .
Republic of Colombia
In 1886, the Republic of Colombia was created, and from 1887 fiscal stamps were issued with the corresponding inscription "Republica de Colombia" [7] .
States of Colombia
Colombian states also issued their own fiscal stamps.
