Rodriguezia obtusifolia (lat.) Is a species of monocotyledonous plants of the genus Rodriguezia ( Rodriguezia ) of the Orchidaceae family ( Orchidaceae ) [2] [3] . Under the current taxonomic name, the plant was described in 1852 by the German botanist Heinrich Gustav Reichenbach [4] [5] .

A small epiphytic plant with a long stem. The pseudobulb is smooth. It blooms in spring. The inflorescence is racemose, carries several flowers up to 5 cm in size [7] .
