About the album
The disc Dandy in the Underworld is the last studio recording of T. Rex, - in September 1977, Mark Bolan died in a car accident, which led to the collapse of the team. The album was more successful than its predecessors and reached 26th position in the UK charts. The title track was released as a single preceding the release of the album, but was unsuccessful. The musical component of the compositions was more in tune with the nascent punk rock . The song "I Love to Boogie" was performed in the typical rock and roll manner of Bolan, this song lasted a total of about nine weeks on the UK charts at number 13 [2] . In general, “I Love to Boogie” is considered one of the most famous songs of the T. Rex group [3] .
