Osiko, Vyacheslav Vasilievich

Vyacheslav Vasilievich Osiko (born March 28, 1932 , Leningrad ) is a Soviet and Russian scientist, doctor of physical and mathematical sciences , a specialist in the field of solid state physics and laser materials, academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences [1] . Head of the Scientific Center for Laser Materials and Technologies of the A. M. Prokhorov Institute of General Physics, Russian Academy of Sciences since 2007 [2] .

Biography

  • He graduated from the Moscow Institute of Chemical Technology (MKHTI) named after D. I. Mendeleev in 1954 .
  • In 1968 he defended the dissertation of a doctor of physical and mathematical sciences [3] .
  • December 29, 1981 was elected a corresponding member of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
  • December 23, 1987 was elected an academician of the USSR Academy of Sciences.
  • In 2018, a stroke occurred.

He has survived, and can already stand.
