Career

Club

Krmpotić spent most of his football career at the Belgrade club Crvena Zvezda , where he made his debut in 1977. Together with the team, he became the champion of Yugoslavia three times, and also twice won the country's cup. In 1986, Krmpotich moved to the Turkish club Genclerbirligi , in 1988 he returned to Yugoslavia. He completed his career in 1991.

Team

Krmpotich joined the national team of Yugoslavia at the 1982 World Cup . Of the 3 matches of Yugoslavia at the tournament, Krmpotich appeared in two: in games against the national teams of Spain and Honduras . In a meeting with Honduras in the 81st minute, Krmpotich was awarded a yellow card [1] .

Coach Career

Zlatko Krmpotich coached various European clubs, as well as the Kuwaiti team “ Kazma ” and Kazakhstan “ Kairat ”. In addition, Krmpotich worked with the youth teams of Serbia and Montenegro, and then Serbia.
