Antti Juhani Rinne ( Fin. Antti Juhani Rinne ; born November 3, 1962 , Helsinki , Finland ) is a Finnish politician; Chairman of the Social Democratic Party (SDP) (from 2014); Speaker of the Finnish Parliament (from April to June 2019); Prime Minister of Finland from June 6, 2019. Earlier - the Minister of Finance of Finland (2014-2015).

Biography
Born November 3, 1962 in Helsinki, Finland. He graduated from the University of Helsinki .
On May 9, 2014 at the congress of the Social Democratic Party, he was elected as the new party chairman, beating Yutta Urpilainen ; 257 deputies voted for him, 243 deputies voted for Urpilainen. He stated that under his leadership "the party will focus on issues of economic growth and employment" [2] .
On June 6, 2014, he replaced Jutta Urpilainen in the office of Katainen as Minister of Finance [3] [4] , and on June 24 he was again approved in this ministerial position in the office of Stubb [5] ; He held this position until May 29, 2015 - the date of termination of his office.
In February 2017, he was re-elected Chairman of the SDP [6] .
On April 24, 2019, after the victory of the Social Democratic Party in the parliamentary elections , Antti Rinne was elected Speaker of the Eduskunta (the Finnish parliament) [7] as the SDP Chairman.
On June 6, 2019, the candidacy of Rinne for the post of Prime Minister of Finland was approved by Eduskunta (111 votes "for", 74 - "against"). On the same day, the President of Finland accepted the resignation of the Cabinet of Sipil and approved the composition of the new government - the Cabinet of Rinne [8] . A day later, Matti Vanhanen was elected instead of Rinne to the post of speaker eduskunta [9] .
