The park was created in April 1998 by the decision of the first mayor of Taganrog S. I. Shilo in memory of the 300th anniversary of Taganrog. The original area of ​​the Park. The 300th anniversary of Taganrog, which was calculated in the draft master plan of Taganrog until 2015, was 26 hectares.

In 2005, the administration of the city from this site allocated 8 hectares to the company "CenterDomnaRemont" ^[1] for the construction of a cottage village called "New City" ^{[2] [3]} .

October 15, 2016 in the city of Taganrog took place the action "Arbor Day". It took place throughout the city, but one of the most popular events took place in the park to them. 300th anniversary of Taganrog. It is considered one of the youngest parks of Taganrog. Planting new trees is necessary in order to give it a new impetus to development. As part of the action, new saplings of bird cherry and weeping willow appeared in the park ^[4] .

February 26, 2017 in the park held a festive program dedicated to Shrovetide ^[5] . Also in the park are annual celebrations dedicated to the Day of Russia ^[6] . One of the sites of the park is the place where the celebrations of the International Family Day are held ^[7] .

In April 2017 it became known that the park to them. The 300th anniversary of Taganrog is one of the city places where entrepreneurs plan to install urban street trainers. The places for the installation of these simulators were chosen by the head of the city administration, Andrey Lissitsky, the chief architect of the city, Yury Berestov, and a representative from the entrepreneurs. Other places in Taganrog, in which simulators will appear, are called: Dubki Grove , Pushkin Embankment and Odigitrievskaya Church District ^[8] .

In September 2012, entrepreneur Malik Bayrambekov received permission from the mayor's office to build a cafe and bowling in the park ^[9] . But at the end of October, officials from the Taganrog mayor's office sent a letter to the entrepreneur about the cancellation of the permit ^[9] .

In July 2014, the cutting and transplanting of trees for the construction of bowling began. The work was stopped by several deputies of the City Duma ^[10] . At an extraordinary meeting of the City Duma, the deputies expressed serious concern about the future of the park and, in this regard, gave several instructions to the city administration ^{[10] [11] [12]} .

In July 2014, on the eve of the elections to the City Duma, a resident of Taganrog, who lives near the park, dumped the personal path in this park with personal funds and installed six garden benches and an urn.
