Tetsuo Okamoto ( port.-Brazil. Tetsuo Okamoto , March 20, 1932 - October 1, 2007 ) - Brazilian swimmer, Olympic medalist.

Born in 1932 in Marilia in a family of emigrants from Japan. He took up swimming at the age of 15. In 1950 he became the champion of Brazil. In 1951, he won two gold and one silver medal of the Pan American Games. In 1952, he won three gold medals at the South American Championship, and at the Helsinki Olympic Games he won a bronze medal.

Subsequently, he studied geology in the United States, then worked in a company for drilling artesian wells.
