Biography
Born on February 15, 1922 in a peasant family in the village of Karadaghly, Shusha district of the Azerbaijan SSR (today - Agdam region).
Since 1939, a collective farmer, since 1941, a link collective farm named after Telman of the Agdam region.
She mastered and applied new agronomic and agrotechnical methods, studied the experience of the advanced cotton growers of the republic. In 1945, the link under the leadership of Kerimova first fulfilled the plan for 100% cotton yield, having received 43 centners per hectare, in 1946 the young cotton grower with his link received 83 centners of cotton per hectare. In 1947, the unit received 86.3 centners of cotton per hectare on an area of 5 hectares.
By a decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of March 10, 1948, for receiving high yields of cotton when the collective farm complies with mandatory deliveries, she was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor with the award of the Order of Lenin and the Gold Hammer and Sickle [1] .
Actively participated in the public life of Azerbaijan and the Soviet Union. Member of the CPSU since 1946. Member of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of the 8th and 9th convocations, Deputy of the Supreme Council of Azerbaijan from the 2nd to 5th convocations. The delegate of the XXIV and XXV Congresses of the CPSU, XI Congress of the Komsomol, XXVIII and XXIX Congress of the Communist Party of Azerbaijan, was elected a member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Republic. Participant of the World Congress of Peace (1949), the 3rd All-Union Congress of Collective Farmers (1969) and the 3rd Congress of a Woman of Azerbaijan (1967).
