Biography
She was born in 1919 in the Keles region, Chimkent region (today - Saryagash district of South Kazakhstan region , Kazakhstan ). In 1938, she joined the collective farm “Socialist Kazakhstan” in the Keles district of the Chimkent region. Initially, she worked as an ordinary collective farmer. In 1940, a cotton link was appointed.
In 1942, the cotton-growing unit of Orazgul Bekturganova collected 20 centners of cotton each. In 1947, 40 centners of cotton were harvested from a 7-hectare site. In 1947, the link gathered 88 centners of cotton from a 3-hectare site and 22 centners of cotton from a 2-hectare site. For this valiant work, Orazgul Bekturganova was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1948.
