Biography

Ablukov Alexander Mikhailovich was born on December 18, 1921 in the city of Astrakhan . He lost his father early and in the spring of 1934 was sent to the Ivanovo regime orphanage, where from 1938 he was brought up with the future legendary Hero of the Great Patriotic War Alexander Matrosov . He graduated from the school of FZU in the city of Kuibyshev . He worked at the factory.

In the Red Army since April 19, 1941 . In the battles of World War II from June 1941. Member of the CPSU (b) since 1942 .

The commander of the gun crew of the 22nd Army Fighter-Anti-Tank Artillery Regiment, Senior Sergeant Alexander Ablukov , July 20, 1944 , while crossing the Western Bug River west of the city of Lyuboml of the Volyn Region of Ukraine , fired directly and together with the soldiers destroyed the enemy’s mortar battery, which interfered with the advancement of the Soviet Union . July 24, 1944, not paying attention to the fierce enemy fire, senior sergeant Ablukov set the gun in a tank-dangerous direction for direct fire and controlled the direction of a possible attack by enemy tanks. For courage and bravery shown in battles, on August 5, 1944, Senior Sergeant Ablukov Alexander Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 3rd degree.

On January 14, 1945, south-west of the Polish city of Pulawy, Senior Sergeant A. Ablukov, commanding the gun crew entrusted to him, destroyed before the platoon enemy soldiers, two machine guns, an anti-tank gun. For courage and bravery shown in battles, on February 17, 1945, Senior Sergeant Ablukov Alexander Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 2nd degree.

In the period from April 16 to April 20, 1945, in the battles northwest of the city of Frankfurt an Oder, the gunnery calculation commander of the 22nd Army Fighter-Antitank Artillery Regiment, Senior Sergeant Alexander Ablukov, fired directly and destroyed three guns, seven machine guns , dozens of enemy soldiers. the artillery warrior was wounded, but did not leave the battlefield.

By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of May 31, 1945, for the exemplary performance of command assignments in battles with German-enemy invaders, Senior Sergeant Ablukov Alexander Mikhailovich was awarded the Order of Glory of the 1st degree, becoming the full holder of the Order of Glory.

After the war, A. M. Ablukov was demobilized. He lived in the city of Ulyanovsk . For a decade and a half, he worked as a mechanic at the Ulyanovsk Automobile Plant . He died on February 11, 1964 . He was buried in Ulyanovsk in the old city cemetery.

He was awarded the Orders of Glory of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd degree, medals.

Memory

His name in 1976 was named a street in Ulyanovsk, passing from the Moscow highway to Pushkarev street. The name of Alexander Ablukov was a pioneer camp on the banks of the Volga in the Staromainsky district of the Ulyanovsk region .
