Jens Jørn Haahr Bertelsen (born Jens Jørn Haahr Bertelsen ; born February 15, 1952 , Esbjerg ) is a Danish footballer who is best known for playing for the Danish Esbjerg . In addition, he was a player in the main team of Denmark , having played 69 matches for her and scoring 2 goals. As part of the national team, he played at Euro 1984 and the 1986 World Cup . Career

Born in Esbjerg . He also played for the small club Sadding-Guldager. When the head coach of this club was hired by the Esbjerg Division 3, Bertelsen followed, where he played with Ole Kier and Jon Laurisen . On April 1, 1973, at the age of 21, he made his debut for the Esberg. He was a hardworking defensive midfielder and helped the team enter the Danish First Division . In 1976, Jens Jorn was named the Danish Cup Finals player. This was the first tournament at Esbjerg in 11 years [1] . In the 1st division, Bertelsen helped the club take third place in 1977, second in 1978 , and finally become Danish champions in 1979. He was subsequently named Footballer of the Year in Denmark in 1979.

He received a number of offers from European clubs, and decided to move abroad in May 1982. He signed a contract with the Belgian club Seren and quickly got used to it. He spent two years in Belgium before moving to the French Rouen in 1984, when the Seren went bankrupt. After one season in a minor league club, Bertelsen moved to the Swiss club Aarau in the summer of 1985. In 1987, Jens Jorn returned to Esbjerg , where he ended his career at the end of the 1987/88 season.

Team Career

The debut for the national team of Denmark took place on June 24, 1976 in a match against the national team of Norway . He played all 4 matches for the national team at the 1984 European Championships in France , where the Danes won bronze medals. Also played 3 of 4 matches at the 1986 World Cup in Mexico . The last match for the national team was held in September 1987, at the age of 35.
