Novorossiysk - Feodosia is the first of three specialized ferry services opened in 2014. Carried out the transportation of heavy vehicles across the Kerch Strait between Novorossiysk and Feodosia from May 1 [1] to October 4, 2014.

Description
The organizer of the route was the ANO “Unified Transport Directorate”. [3]
The end points of the route were the sea trade ports of Novorossiysk and Feodosia. The Novorossiysk – Feodosiya route was the main route for transporting trucks to the Crimea and back, since the ferry port Port Kavkaz - Port Krym was reoriented exclusively for passenger transportation in May 2014. Two ferries operated on the line in reverse movement with respect to each other. [3] In one trip, ferries were able to carry up to 85 trucks (13,867 tons of cargo). [3] The travel time was 8 - 9 hours [3] with a length of 191 km [4] .
The line began operations on May 1, 2014, when the first 48 trucks departed from Novorossiysk to the Feodosia Commercial Sea Port . [one]
From May 1 to 12, about 1,500 trucks were transported on the Poseidon Express vessel. Including from Novorossiysk to Feodosia 700 heavy trucks in the opposite direction - 650. [5]

From July 1 to September 15, 2014, ferries made 177 flights, 14,400 heavy cargo were transported (7,400 to the Crimea, 7,000 from the Crimea). [7]
Ferries

Alternative Routes
