He came from a spiritual rank. He was brought up first in the Ekaterinoslav Theological School, then in the Ekaterinoslav Theological Seminary , where in 1821 he entered the Moscow Department of the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy. He graduated in 1826 with the degree of doctor of the I department, and in 1828 received the title of obstetrician.
Having begun his service at the Moscow Medical and Surgical Academy in 1827 as an associate professor in the Department of Veterinary Surgery, Plant and Exterior Science, on January 30, 1830 he defended his doctoral dissertation: “De generali aneurysmathum notione eorum pathologiam et therapiam spectante” and, having received Doctor’s degree, took the position of Assistant Inspector of the Academy. Soon, he was appointed associate professor in the Department of Veterinary Surgery.
In November 1830, Yasinsky was transferred to the St. Petersburg Medical and Surgical Academy as an associate professor in the Department of Physiology and Pathology; in 1834 he returned to Moscow. In 1833-1838 he was the scientific secretary of the academy. Leaving the post of assistant inspector in 1834, he assumed the duties of a librarian. In the same year, 1834, he was approved in the rank of an ordinary professor of the academy in the department of zootomy, comparative physiology and epizootic diseases; since August 1836 - an ordinary professor in the department of private pathology and therapy. Having laid down the duties of a librarian in 1837, and in 1838 the duties of scientific secretary, Yasinsky until 1840 remained a professor of zootomy. When, in 1840, after Professor A. L. Lovetsky , the Department of Physiology was vacated, it was proposed to Yasinsky. At the same time, he was determined the chief physician of the Count Sheremetev hospital in Moscow (now the Sklifosovsky Research Institute ). Since 1844 he was elected an academician and in the same year retired.
He held the post of chief physician of the Sheremeevsk hospital until his death; He died in Moscow on August 5, 1848.
