Geography
Located in the southern part of the district, about 10 km south of the center of Taldom . It is connected by bus with the Vlasovo platform of the Savyolovsky direction of the Moscow Railway [2] . The nearest settlements are the villages of Rastovtsi and Popadino .

History
In the βList of Populated Placesβ of 1862, Bobylino is a state-owned village of the 2nd camp of the Kalyazinsky district of the Tver province on the right side of the Dmitrov highway, at a well, 78 miles from the county town, with 18 yards and 130 inhabitants (64 men, 66 women) [ 3] .
According to the data of 1888, it was part of the Taldom volost of the Kalyazinsky district, 171 people lived (78 men, 93 women) [4] .
By a decree of the Presidium of the All-Russian Central Executive Committee on August 15, 1921, the Taldom volost was included in the constituent Lenin district of the Moscow province and became known as Leninsky [5] [8] .
According to the materials of the 1926 All-Union Population Census, the center of the Bobylinsky village council of the Lenin volost of the Leninsky district of the Moscow province, 258 residents lived (123 men, 135 women), there were 48 peasant farms [5] .
Since 1929 - a settlement as part of the Leninsky district of the Kimry district of the Moscow region, since 1930, in connection with the abolition of the district, - as part of the Taldom region (formerly Leninsky district) of the Moscow region.
Before the municipal reform of 2006 - the village of Guslevsky rural district [9] [10] .
