Description

They feed on the sap of such plants as Lauraceae ( Nectandra ) ^[1] ^[5] . The taxon Pseudokermes marginatus is included in the genus Pseudokermes Cockerell 1895 (tribe Cardiococcini ) along with the species Pseudokermes armatus , Pseudokermes cooleyi , Pseudokermes correntinus , Pseudokermes eugenium , Pseudokermes geoffroeum , and others ^[1] .
