Description

They feed on the juices of plants such as Asteraceae : Eupatorium ; Myrtaceae : Myrciantes pungens . [1] [5] [6] . The taxon Ceroplastes argentinus is included in the genus Ceroplastes Gray, 1828 (tribe Ceroplastini ) along with species Ceroplastes albolineatus , Ceroplastes toddaliae , Ceroplastes uapacae , Ceroplastes alamensis , Ceroplastes ajmerensis , Ceroplastes royenae , 7] .
