Club career

Reyes began his career at the Deportes Antofagasta Club. At the end of the season, he left the team and moved to Kolo-Kolo . With the new club, Pedro won the Chilean Example three times and twice won the Chile Cup . In 1997, Reyes was recognized as the footballer of the year in Chile . At the end of 1998, he moved to the French Auxerre . On January 1, 1999, Reyes made his debut in League 1 against Sochaux . In 2002, he became less likely to join the squad and returned to his homeland, concluding an agreement with Universidad de Chile . At the end of the season, Reyes moved to Espanyola Union . A year later, he left the club and, without much success, played for the Paraguayan Olympia , Deportes La Serena , and Audax Italiano . In 2008, Pedro ended his career with his native Deportes Antofagasta.

International Career

In 1994, Pedro made his debut for the national team of Chile . On April 29 of that year, in a meeting against the Venezuelan national team, Reyes scored his first goal for the national team .

In 1998, Pedro was included in the application for the national team to participate in the World Cup in France . At the tournament, he took part in matches against the teams of Cameroon [2] , Austria [3] , Italy [4] and Brazil [5] .

In 1999, he first performed at the America's Cup in Paraguay . In the match against Colombia, Pedro scored two goals. In 2000, Reyes took part in the Sydney Olympics and helped the national team win bronze medals. In the tournament, he played in matches against the teams of Morocco [6] , Spain [7] , Nigeria [8] , South Korea [9] , Cameroon [10] and the USA [11] .

In 2001, he took part in the America’s Cup for the second time. In the tournament, he played in matches against the national teams of Ecuador [12] , Venezuela [13] , Colombia [14] and Mexico [15] .
