Muslim Hands (in translation from English - “Muslim hands”) is an international Islamic humanitarian non-profit organization. Founded in 1993 in the British city ​​of Nottingham [1] . History

The Muslim Hands organization was formed in 1993, when the Muslim community of Nottingham decided to provide assistance to victims during the conflict in Bosnia [3] . Since then, the Muslim Hands organization has been collecting funds and trying to distribute them in an optimal and transparent way. This charity activity is aimed at assisting emergency victims around the world: the organization of schools, clinics and the implementation of social programs.

Emergency assistance

Over the years, the Muslim Hands organization has assisted in emergencies and has earned a good reputation in Nottingham and its surroundings. They constantly act on behalf of other British NGOs, delivering humanitarian aid to areas where they have offices or volunteers [4] .

They provided assistance to the victims of the tsunami in 2004 , the victims of the wars in Afghanistan , Iraq and Syria [1] . They also helped in emergencies such as winters with sub-zero temperatures in Kashmir , cholera outbreaks in Guinea-Bissau, and droughts in Somalia , Mali, and Niger .
