Amsterdam Treaty (1717)

The Amsterdam Treaty was concluded on August 4 ( 15 ), 1717 between Russia, France and Prussia in conditions when the outcome of the Northern War was a foregone conclusion. The parties reached an agreement on all issues. France, in particular, agreed to recognize the terms of the future Russian-Swedish peace treaty and renounced its alliance with Sweden.
