Club career
Alberto Sainz began his football career in 1958 at the Argentinos Juniors Club. In 1962, Sainz transferred to River Plate , with whom he entered the final of the Libertadores Cup in 1966, lost to the Uruguayan Peñarol . In 1968, he moved to the San Lorenzo team from Mar del Plata , where Sainz completed his career after a season.
International Career
Alberto Sainz joined the Argentine national team for the 1962 World Cup . Of the 3 matches of Argentina in the tournament, Sainz appeared on the field in two: in the first game of the group stage against the national team of Bulgaria and in the last - against Hungary [1] .
