Biography

Born on August 14, 1902 in the village of Sedelnikovo.

He graduated from three educational institutions, in 1922 he graduated from the Odessa Art College, in 1925 the Nizhny Novgorod Art College, in 1930 the Leningrad Institute of Public Utilities Engineers.

In 1931, the USSR People's Commissar of Labor was poisoned in the city of Voronezh, for subsequent work as an architect.

In 1933, Mironov developed the global project "Big Voronezh", adopted as a master plan in 1939, the project addresses the global architectural and urban problems of the city, such as the construction of a reservoir, the construction of highways.

June 29, 1941 he was sent to the Urals, for the architectural planning of aircraft factories, in 1940-1943 he was the chief architect of the aviation university.

In 1943 he was invited to Voronezh, freed from Nazi occupation, as chief architect. He developed the general plan of the city (together with academician of architecture L. V. Rudnev ), projects for the restoration of buildings destroyed in the war, projects for new public buildings.

In 1945-1951 he was the creative leader of the restoration of the city.

Over the years, Mironov has developed more than 150 architectural projects, about 50 of them have been implemented.

In 1963 he defended his thesis, was awarded the degree of candidate of architecture.

Alexander Vasilievich Mironov died on May 22, 1980.
