Club career

He started playing football at the Botafogo club from his hometown Ribeirão Preto . In 2001, he played 4 matches in the Brazilian Serie A. During the speeches, Alex “Botafogo” was very weak and slipped from Serie A to the lower leagues of the São Paulo State Championship. In 2005, Alex moved to the São Carlos Club, which also played in the São Paulo State Championship.

In 2006, Alex, along with his compatriot Kleber , moved to the Armenian “ Mika ”. On April 14, 2006, he played the debut match in the Armenian Championship against Chirac . Alex immediately became the main player of the club and in his first season won the Cup and the Super Cup of Armenia and the bronze medals of the national championship.

In 2008, the former Mika coach Armen Adamyan , who worked as a senior coach in the Ulyanovsk Volga , invited Alex to the Russian club. The Brazilian made his debut in the Volga on August 13, 2008 in a game against Anji . In total, he spent in the first division of Russia on loan a half-season, having played 16 matches and scored 1 goal, and returned back to Mika.

As of 2014, Alex has the “Miki” club record for the number of matches played - 203 games in the Armenian Championship, at the end of 2012 he was ahead of this indicator Hrachya Mikaelyan [1] . International Career
