Career
Universidad de Chile began his professional career in 1961, where he spent 10 years. Pedro spent 215 matches for the Chilean club and scored 82 goals. In 1971 he moved to the Mexican β San Luis β, for which he played for three seasons. The last club in Arayaβs career was Atlas , which also spent 3 seasons.
Chile played 65 matches for the national team and scored 14 goals [1] . Bronze medalist of the 1967 South American Championship in Uruguay . After the championship, Pedro was called the Chilean Garrincha . Member of the 1966 World Cup in England . He played in all three matches of the national team in the tournament.
