Luke Caley Charteris ( born Luke Caley Charteris , born March 9, 1983 in Campborn) is a Welsh rugby player who played in the locks position for Wales.

Content
Career
Club
From 2001 to 2012, he played in the Celtic League for the Llanelli Scarlets (2001–2003) and Newport Gwent Dragons (2003–2012), and also played for the Newport Farm Club (2003–2014). Since August 2011, he was the captain of the "dragons" [1] . In May 2012, Charteris joined Perpignan from the Top 14 [2] . On June 6, 2014 he moved to Racing Metro 92 after Perpignan flew into Pro D2 [3] . November 23, 2015 he moved to "Bat", signing a contract for a period of three years [4] . At the end of the season, 2018/2019 completed his career, saying that he would continue to work as a corridor draw coach at the Bata headquarters [5] .
Team
He played for national teams until 19 and up to 21 years. Debuted on November 6, 2004 in a test match against South Africa . He participated in the autumn tour of the Wales team in October 2008, played in the Six Nations Cup 2009 , 2010 [6] [7] , 2011 , 2012 , 2014 and 2015 . In August 2011, he was included in the application for the World Cup in New Zealand [8] , where Wales took 4th place.
During a series of fall test matches in 2013, he played against Tonga , bringing the team a 17: 7 victory and becoming the best player in the match. January 20, 2015 was included in the application for the Six Nations Cup [9] . He played in the fall at the World Cup in England .
