Dalnerechensk is a city in the Primorsky Territory of Russia , the administrative center of the Dalnerechensky district and the Dalnerechensky urban district . Located near the border with China . The most northern and oldest city of Primorye .

Content
History
It was founded by Cossacks as the village of Grafskaya (founded in 1859) in honor of Count N. N. Muravyov-Amursky [3] [4] .
Before the revolution , the 1st Siberian Pontoon Battalion was deployed in the city.
From 1897 [5] to 1972 the city was called Iman (according to the name of the river on which it was, now Bolshaya Ussurka ). The status of the city since 1917 was renamed as a result of the campaign to eliminate Chinese names in the Far East, which was the result of the Soviet-Chinese armed conflict on Damansky Island .
The 15th Separate brigade of patrol ships of the border troops (15 OBSKR) was based in the city.
Geography
It is located in the valleys of the rivers Ussuri , Bolshoi Ussurki and Robin , which are connected in the city. It is located not far from the spurs of the Sikhote-Alin and Salskaya hills - an extinct volcano. The distance to Vladivostok is 400 km.

- In 2016 (September), typhoon Lyonrok raged in the Primorsky Territory , which caused great damage to the city and the district, flooding vast areas of river water (due to prolonged heavy rainfall).
