Kuznetsov, Alexander Nikolaevich (metallurgist)

Born into a peasant family ^[2] .

In 1941, at the beginning of the war, he graduated from high school and two weeks after receiving a certificate he was called up by the Petukhov District Military Commissariat of the Chelyabinsk Region. After graduating from a military school in Tyumen, he was sent to a reserve regiment for three months. He was the commander of a rifle platoon. In 1942 - wounded, hospital, return to the front. Then he fell into the detachment recruited for operations in the deep rear of the enemy, became the commander of a long-range reconnaissance group.

In October 1942 —May 1945 He fought on the Kalinin and Leningrad fronts. In May 1945, the Guard Senior Lieutenant Kuznetsov served as assistant chief of staff for special. After the service of the 977th Infantry Regiment of the 270th Infantry Demidov Red Banner Division, after serving another year, he was credited as a candidate for admission to the Academy of the General Staff. However, having decided to devote himself to work to restore the destroyed national economy, in June 1946 he was demobilized from the Armed Forces.

In 1951 he graduated from the metallurgical faculty of the Ural Polytechnic Institute named after S. M. Kirov . During his studies he got married, his daughter Irina was born.

In 1951 - 1955 - Technologist, head of the press and stamping shop, production manager of the Kamensk-Uralsky Metallurgical Plant ( Sverdlovsk Region ).

In June 1955 - 1966 - Chief Engineer of the Belokalitvensky Metallurgical Plant, (Belaya Kalitva, Rostov Region).

In 1966 - 1997 - General Director of the Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant.

Since 1997 - Advisor and Advisor to JSC Krasnoyarsk Metallurgical Plant.

He was elected deputy of the Supreme Council of the RSFSR of the 10th convocation, a delegate to congresses of the CPSU.

He lived and worked in the city of Krasnoyarsk .
