Ulohou ( Chinese trad. 烏洛 侯 , Exercise 乌洛 侯 , Pinyin : wūluòhóu , pall. Ulohou , Ulokhun variant ( 烏羅渾), Ulokhu ( 烏羅護)) - an ancient Mongolian semi-nomadic tribe (V century AD .), living in Inner Mongolia in the area of the current Hulun-Buira . Swallowed by zhuyans . Olhonuts [1] [2] , Urynkhayans [3], and Tatars [4] are mentioned among the descendants of the Ulowwows.

Location
They lived north of Didougan , in 4500 li from the bid of the Toa khan Toi dai .
History
In 444, they sent ambassadors to Emperor Bei Wei Tai Wu-di . At the morning reception, the ambassador Ulohou reported that in the northwestern part of the earth, the Ulohou had a stone temple of the former sovereigns of the Toba house: from north to south 90 steps, from east to west 40, 70 chi (about 23 meters). There is a statue of a deity worshiped by the locals. Secretary of the Chancellery Lee Chan (李 敞) was sent, he sacrificed and carved a prayer on the wall of the temple.

Household
The soil is wet, frequent fogs and frost. In winter, they lived in dugouts , in the summer they roamed with cattle in the hills. They kept pigs . They grew millet and wheat . Great hunters.
Customs
Men had their hair braided in a braid (like the tabgaches and later the Manchus ) and decorated with pearls. Straightforward, robbery, theft and adultery was not, therefore, the property is not protected. They played on 9-string harps konhou .
