Career
Tavano began his career at Pisa , while still a minor, he moved to Rondinella, which played in Series C2 . Then he joined Empoli, where he established himself as one of the stars of a small Tuscan team. In January 2006, during the transfer window, several Italian clubs and Real Madrid became interested in him [2] , but despite this, in the middle of 2006, he joined Valencia . Also in April 2006, he received a call to the national team [3] , but did not debut there.
Then Tavano returned to Italy, moving on loan to Roma , where he mainly served as a backup player.
In 2007, Livorno bought it for 5.5 million euros [4] , with whom he signed a 4-year contract [5] . And in 2011 he returned to Empoli.
