Biography
As a football player, he played as a goalkeeper in the teams: SKIF (Alma-Ata) , Sogdiana (Dzhizak) , Meliorator (Kzyl-Orda) , Vostok (Ust-Kamenogorsk) , Tekstilshchik (Ivanovo) .
He graduated from the Institute of Physical Culture in Almaty. After completing a career, he became a coach. Vitaly Shashkov was one of the first to develop women's football in the country. From 1988 to 1992, he coached the women's football club SKA-Merrey (Alma-Ata) . In 1992, the team moved to Samara and changed its name to “CSK Air Force”. Vitaly Shashkov as a member of the coaching team four times led the club to victory in the Russian Women's Football Championship .
Since 2005, he has been working in the structure of the Wings of the Soviets football club. For a long time he was responsible for the vital issues of the youth composition and club school. In 2010, Shashkov was appointed deputy sports director of the team [1] . He then held the posts of Vice President and Deputy General Director for Sports.
June 27, 2014 was appointed to the post of General Director of “Wings of the Soviets” [2] .
