Biography
Seitnafe Seitveliyev was born on May 29, 1919 in the village of Tav-Kipchak (now Belogorsk region of Crimea ). After graduating from high school he worked on the collective farm . In 1939, Seitveliyev was called up to serve in the Workers 'and Peasants' Red Army . He graduated from the school junior commanders. Since the beginning of World War II - on its fronts. In the battles he was wounded [1] .
By June 1944, Senior Sergeant Seitnafe Seitveliyev commanded the guns of the 350th Infantry Regiment of the 96th Infantry Division of the 48th Army of the 1st Byelorussian Front . He distinguished himself during the liberation of the Byelorussian SSR . On June 25, 1944, Seitveliyev participated in the breakthrough of the German defense in the Zhlobin region, and on the night of July 2, 1944 - in battles near the town of Maryina Gorka , together with his calculations, knocking down fifteen German tanks [1] .
By decree of the Presidium of the Supreme Soviet of the USSR of September 25, 1944, Senior Sergeant Seytnaf Seitveleviev was awarded the title Hero of the Soviet Union with the Order of Lenin and the Gold Medal Star ” , number 6116 [1] .
In 1946, in the rank of sergeant, Seitveliyev was demobilized. He could not return to the Crimea due to the deportation of the Crimean Tatars to Central Asia and was forced to leave for the city of Leninabad (now Khujand in Tajikistan ). He graduated from agricultural school. He died on March 13, 1983 [1] .
Honorary citizen of Minsk . He was also awarded the Order of the Red Banner and World War 1 degree, a number of medals [1] .
