Description

Small Worms, females 0.8 mm long (up to 0.4 mm wide); extended in the middle. They feed on the sap of such plants as Retama raetam , Retama radam ( Fabaceae ), Artemisia ( Asteraceae ). The species was first described in 1926 by the entomologist William J. Hall ( Hall, WJ ) as Coccomytilus retamae [1] [3] [4] [5] . The taxon Pallulaspis retamae is included in the genus Pallulaspis Ferris 1937, together with the taxons Pallulaspis ephedrae Ferris, 1937 , Pallulaspis lantanae (Green & Laing, 1923) , Pallulaspis lantanae Borchsenius, 1966 , Pallulaspis quercus Takahashi, which is also used by the company to be covered by the company, which is used by the group Pallulaspris Ferris, Pallulaspris ferris , Pallulaspis ephedrae Ferris, 1937 , Pallulaspis epantrae . The species name comes from the generic name of the host plant ( Retama ), on which the development of the worms occurs [1] .
