Biography

Descended from the old princely family of the Tumanovs .

Born on July 22 ( August 3 ), 1848 . He graduated from the Nikolaev Cadet Corps (1866), then studied at the Nikolaevsky Cavalry School , which he did not graduate from, but he passed the officer's exam at the Elisavetgrad Cavalry Junker School.

Entered the service on May 1, 1866. In 1871–1872 was an ensign of police Tiflis province . From July 24, 1878 - in the rank of Cornet; participated in the Caucasus in the Russian-Turkish war of 1877-1878. .

Lieutenant of the Guards cavalry - from August 17, 1885. For five years, 1889-1894, he was the head of the life guards of the team of the Crimean Tatars of his own, E. I. Convoy. It was produced on December 6, 1894, to the colonels and sent to the duty officer at the time of E. I. V., after which, from April 3, 1896, he was at the disposal of the palace commandant for a long time. In 1902 he was appointed commander of the 2nd brigade of the Siberian Cossack Division . From December 6, 1903 - Major General. From November 15, 1905 - general for special assignments at the Ministry of the Imperial Court. Produced to lieutenant general on December 6, 1911.

It is known that N. G. Tumanov occupied the apartment number 102 of the Nirnsee house .

In 1918 he was mobilized by the Bolsheviks , after which there was no information about him (possibly he was shot on February 28, 1938 [1] ).
