In an interview with Eurosport, the biathlete recalled working with a trainer this way:
"Do you know how he set me up for the race?" I tried to get something out of myself, so that I boiled and fell off, I would have answered him sharply. Afterwards, I calmed down, concentrated, and everything, as a rule, was successful. He was probably the first of the coaches who noticed that in my case it often helps - when I got into the national team, he shared this observation with the senior coaches. I went with me infrequently. At first my adult world championship went, and then a few more times - at the World Cup. But I always met at home and in Moscow. ”
