Biography
Member of the revolution of 1905-1907. Member of the RSDLP since 1905. [1] He graduated from a teacher’s seminary in 1907, worked as a teacher in the Sormovsky district, and collaborated with democratic magazines. He was in exile in Arkhangelsk, then a few years later in the Irkutsk province (1915), he returned after the February Revolution .
In 1917, between the two Russian revolutions he worked in the Kronstadt Committee of the RSDLP (b) and the Presidium of the Council, was a member of the Petrograd Council , a member of the 1st All - Russian Central Executive Committee . He was a delegate to the 6th Congress of the RSDLP (b). During the October Revolution - a member of the Petrograd Military Revolutionary Committee.
He served as the chief commissar of the Baltic Fleet . Then he worked in Saratov and at the same time edited “Saratov Izvestia”. Delegate of the 9th Congress of the RCP (B.) (1920). In the 20-30s on administrative work, editor of several Soviet newspapers and magazines, head of the TASS department. During this period, he was friends with Yesenin and even bought poetry from him. [2] He lived in Moscow in the famous House on the waterfront .
From 1952 until his death - a personal pensioner . Died in Moscow, buried in Kronstadt .
