Man Gym Grigoryevich Khvan , another variant of names is Man-Gym , unofficial name is Timofey Grigoryevich ( December 25, 1919 , Primorsky Territory , RSFSR - July 12, 1997 , Uzbek SSR ) - chairman of the Political Department collective farm, party leader of the Uzbek SSR, Hero Socialist Labor (1957). The delegate of the XXII, XXIII, XXIV, XXV, XXVI Congress of the CPSU. Member of the Supreme Council of the Uzbek SSR of six convocations. Member of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of the Uzbek SSR. Member of the Presidium of the Supreme Council of the Uzbek SSR (1963-1985). Member of the Presidium of the Football Federation of the USSR. First Deputy Chairman of the Collective Farm Council of the USSR. Honored cotton grower of the Uzbek SSR.

Biography
Born December 25, 1919 in a peasant family in the Primorsky Territory. During the deportation of the Koreans , he was deported to Uzbekistan with his family.
He began his career at the Yangiyul Cotton Plant. Since 1939, he held various business positions. In 1947, he was elected chairman of the Leninsky Way collective farm in the Verkhne-Chirchik district of the Tashkent region . From 1951 to 1953 he was the head of the agricultural department of the Verkhne-Chirchirsky district committee of the CPSU (b). For some time he worked in the administration of the Tashkent railway .
In October 1953, he was elected chairman of the Politotdel collective farm. He worked in this position until 1985. He brought the Politotdel collective farm to the leading agricultural enterprises of the Tashkent region, for which he would be awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1957.
In 1960 he graduated from the Higher Party School under the Central Committee of the CPSU.
In 1985 he was arrested in the " cotton case " and sentenced to imprisonment. After justification, he was released in 1989.
He died on July 12, 1997 and was buried in the cemetery of the former collective farm "Politotdel" (today - the farm "Dustlik").
