Biography
Born in 1896 (today - Aral district , Kyzylorda region , Kazakhstan ). Until 1957 he worked as a shepherd on the collective farm named after Amangeldy. Since 1957 he worked as a shepherd at the state farm "Aralsk".
In 1948, Murat Shalabaev received 530 lambs from 407 ewes, fulfilling the plan by 130%. From each sheep, he received an average of 42 kilograms of wool. For this valiant work, he was awarded the title of Hero of Socialist Labor in 1948.
