Qingxiu ( Chinese: . , Pinyin : Qīngxú ) is a county in Taiyuan city district of Shanxi province ( PRC ).

History
During the Sui Empire, Qingyuan County (清源 县) was created in 596. In 606, he was annexed to Jinyang County (晋阳 县), but was recreated in 618.
Under the Jurchen Jin Empire in 1189, Suigou County (徐 沟 县) was formed from part of the territories of Qingyuan, Pinjin and Yuitsi counties.
Under the Qing Empire, in 1763, Qingyuan County was annexed to Xuigou County.
In 1912, Qingyuan County was re-created. In 1915, he was again attached to the county of Xuigou, but was recreated in 1917.
In 1949, the Fengyang Special Region (汾阳 专区) was formed, and both counties became part of it. In 1951, Fengyang Special District was disbanded, and counties became part of the Yuqi Special Region (榆次 专区). In 1952, Qingyuan and Xuygou counties were merged into Qingxu county, whose name was formed from the first characters of the original counties.
In 1958, Qingyu County came under the jurisdiction of the Taiyuan authorities.
