Wanbailin ( Chinese уп 万柏林 , pinyin : Wànbǎilín ) is the urban subordination area of Taiyuan urban district of Shanxi Province ( PRC ).

History
In 1958, on the lands lying west of the Fenhe River, the Hexi region was formed (河西 区, literally. "West of the river").
In 1997, the administrative-territorial division of Taiyuan was changed, and based on the Hexi district, as well as part of the land of the former Northern Suburban Region, the Wanbailin District was formed in 1998.
