Naskh and Mansuh

Revocation of ayahs, naskh ( arab.نسخ ) - replacement or revision of divine revelation in Islam.

History

According to Muslim legends, the Quranic verses and precepts of the Prophet Muhammad were canceled during the life of the Messenger of Allah by the will of the Almighty Lord and cannot be changed after the death of the Prophet Muhammad , because one of the last Quranic revelations (5: 3) says that the Most High Allah improved and completed Islamic religion. However, sometimes Muslim theologians practice the cancellation of ayahs if they contradict each other . In this case, the later ayah wins chronologically.

An example of the cancellation of the Quranic verses is the following hadith : “ Aisha said that among the sent down in the Koran were the words“ Tenfold breastfeeding is forbidden ”, but then this command was replaced by“ five breastfeeding ”. This ayah remained in the Qur'an until the death of the prophet ”(Muslim, Rada 24, / 1452 /; Abu Daud, Nikah 11, / 2062 /; Tirmizi, Rada 3, / 1150 /; Nasai, Nikah 51, / 6, 100 /).

When We replace one ayah with another, they say: "Verily, you are a liar." Allah is best to know what He sends. But most of them do not know this.
